We're Not Alone anyways

“Berakhirlah sudah”… - Ilya Q (Project Director, The Black and White Affair, PR Pt 3, UiTM), 11.05pm, 17th October 08.

I just can’t believe that we’ve passed the BIG NIGHT! All the hectic and broken pencil we had last week have totally been paid off! Thanks to all the committee members who worked to their hardest, day in and day out in making this ‘affair’ a success.

Sure, there were some technical glitches here and there but we managed to deal with them. After all, this event is all about having fun and to think too much would be a huge mistake! Let go all the worries and I can tell that everyone was totally having fun especially during the final performance by the Sharpshooters (they’re awesome!)

We also would like to thank all the respective sponsors who were keen enough to inject some ‘goodwill’ to support our event. Nothing much better to say than these two words which are - “THANK YOU” (All Caps!). We really mean it. Be it monetary or products sponsorships, this event will never mean a thing without your kind contributions.

RM 1,500.00 was a clear prove that we can live against all odds – time, financial, manpower, etc. We’ve done all these in one month period. World Wildlife Foundation (WWF) Malaysia, expressed their gratitude for our effort in making this world a better place for the symbiosis of all creatures. All hails go to the committee members who were so committed in their works. You guys are amazingly awesome! KUDOS!

To the graduating seniors, we wish you Happy Graduation and let’s continue the bond that we’ve created and make it long-lasting. Hope to see you in future in the workforce for sure, in the same old successful ways we know we would be. To the lecturers, thank you for coming and witnessing our event. Let us uphold the spirit of Masscomm to soar high in everything we do.

“Rendezvous – The Black and White Affair” will always be remembered as one sweet memory in our hearts and souls. It is a statement of the professionalism of all PR students.

Oh, do you think this would be the last post in here?

5W 1H part 1

The Black & White Affair will be the “new-age” installment of the ever popular PR Nite for all folks of the programme Bachelor Degree (Hons.) Public Relations, UiTM Malaysia. This semester, the event will be organized by the Part 3 PR people.

Of course, things always happen for a reason. Below are the “significances of the event”:

1) To be the premier gala event to strengthen ties among all PR
students.
2) To create a momentous sphere for all the graduating seniors
3) To create a platform for PR students in showcasing their talent &
effort in organizing a meaningful event.

This time, the PR Nite has been given a philanthropic touch to it. Rather than being just a gala dinner, it will have the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Malaysia as its beneficiary. The part 3 crew is organizing a charity campaign called “To Nature With Love” – What have you done for it lately? It aims to ring an early wakeup call to all members of the faculty to alert on environmental issues such as:

1) The greenhouse effect and global warming
2) The endangered lives of wild animals like the Sumateran Rhino,
Tiger & Orang Utan.
3) Water pollution that could damage fishery resources and habitats.

# Log on to www.wwf.org.my to show your support.

The charity drive will be held to collect fund in support to WWF environmental effort along with the sales of WWF merchandise. A Career Talk will also be held prior to the main event.

Hopefully this event will receive total support mainly by all members of the faculty. It’s more than just a dinner but a meaningful gesture in making this world a better place for us to live. Let us continue to preserve our living planet so that we may enjoy many years of great symbiosis. It’s never too late to start taking action now.

Detik Itu Akan Tiba

Come and dance with us...
